The Delaware County Fair has new royalty.
Maddie Hoeger of Manchester, a West Delaware student, was crowned the 2022 Delaware County Fair Queen last Friday night.
Tessa Tauke of Dyersville, a student at Beckman Catholic, was crowned the Delaware County Fair Princess.
Grace Helle of Petersburg was named second runner-up. The other candidates included Shelby Krogman of Dyersville and Maci Cook of Worthington. The five candidates spent all of last week at the fair, helping at various events.
As the new queen, Hoeger will represent Delaware County at the Iowa State Fair Queen Contest next month.
