Dyersville’s Zero Zone Hosts Open House

One of Dyersville’s newest companies celebrated with an open house and ribbon cutting on Wednesday.

Zero Zone opened earlier this year in Dyersville’s 20 West Industrial Park on the west side of town along Highway 20. Vice President and General Manager Rick Steer says they build refrigeration systems in their Dyersville and Ramsey, Minnesota plants.

Janelle Reicher was the first employee hired at Zero Zone last fall.

Reicher serves as the Human Resources Generalist – and she encourages job seekers to apply to be part of their team as they expand their production.

Jack Funke, a former Ed-Co grad who now lives in Cascade, works as a welder at Zero Zone.

And Funke says he really enjoys his new job.

Community members and job seekers were welcome to stop by Zero Zone on Wednesday afternoon for the open house, with the Dyersville Chamber Ambassadors also hosting a ribbon cutting and KMCH broadcasting live. Steer says it was great to see so many people stop out to visit and tour their facility.
