Delaware County Moves into High COVID-19 Community Level Range

Delaware County is now in the high COVID-19 community level range.

Delaware County Public Health Supervisor Krystle DeShaw released a statement a couple weeks ago, letting the public know that cases were on the rise – but she says now COVID is circulating at high levels in our communities for the first time in months.

Delaware County Public Health says as time goes on, vaccinations decrease in protection, which makes getting your booster dose very important. Anyone six months and older is eligible, so DeShaw recommends contacting your healthcare provider to see about getting your COVID-19 vaccine or boost dose.

Linn and Jones counties are also in the high community level range for COVID, while Dubuque, Buchanan, Clayton and Fayette counties are at the medium level right now.
