Woman Arrested after Linn Co. Chase

A Linn County woman faces a number of charges after a high speed chase yesterday.

On Sunday morning August 14th at approximately 1105 hours, Linn County Deputies went to 1138 Dubuque Road in an attempt to locate 20 year old Chloe Snider of Springville for a Felony Revocation Probation Warrant for Conspiracy to Commit a Forcible Felony.

As deputies were driving to the residence they observed Snider in a Blue 2011 Ford Focus leave the residence and drive West Bound on Highway 151. Deputies attempted to stop the vehicle and Snider sped off. The Deputies pursued Miss Snider who turned onto Partners Avenue in Marion then circled back on 62 nd street to Highway 151.

She then proceeded west to Highway 13 and turned North onto Highway 13 where she accelerated to speeds exceeding 100 Miles per Hour. Deputies continued the pursuit which continued north on Highway 13 through Central City to Coggon where it turned onto East Linn Street.

The chase went through Coggon and turned west onto Coggon Road to Troy Mills where it turned south on Troy Mills Rd. At approximately 1124, Snider attempted to turn her vehicle back west onto Walker road and lost control of her vehicle which came to rest on a fence in the south ditch. Deputies approached the vehicle and took Miss Snider into Custody.

Snider is being charged with Interference with Official Acts, Eluding, Reckless Driving, Driving While License under Suspension, and numerous other traffic violations.
