An Oelwein man has been arrested for stealing a skid loader and a forklift.
The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office says they took a report of a theft just northwest of Oelwein on R Avenue near 50th Street on Sunday night.
An investigation revealed that 45-year old Jeremiah Junior-William Larson had sold a skid loader and a forklift without the owner’s permission.
Larson was taken into custody and charged with First Degree Theft and Third Degree Burglary.
The incident remains under investigation. The Sheriff’s Office says more arrests and charges are possible.
