It was back to school today for most area students.
Classes began today at Maquoketa Valley, Ed-Co, Beckman, Western Dubuque, East Buchanan, Monticello, Independence and Starmont.
West Delaware students head back to school one week from today – August 30th – due to the building updates that are going on at the high school and middle school.
North Linn heads back to school two weeks from today on September 6th. Superintendent Dave Hoeger tells KMCH that’s because of the school district’s remodeling project. He says they don’t have the fire alarm system working yet, so they’ve delayed the start of classes.
