Back to School for West Delaware and St. Mary’s Students

It was back to school on Tuesday for West Delaware and St. Mary’s students in Manchester.

The school district got the green light on Monday to move forward with classes. Superintendent Dr. Kristen Rickey says they needed state fire marshal and electrical inspection approval as they’re still in the midst of building renovations at West Delaware High School and Middle School.

St. Mary’s students were excited to come back to school after a busy summer break.

And over at Lambert Elementary, Principal Rudi Hameister says it’s good to be back.

Construction work will continue through the school year, especially this fall – but Rickey assures parents the buildings are safe as students return to class.
