Petersburg will be hosting another concert this Labor Day weekend.
It’s the Back Field Country Bash – back for the second year in a row. The event was created last year to celebrate Petersburg’s 150th anniversary with a parade and concert featuring Confederate Railroad – and it was such a hit that the Petersburg Commercial Club decided to throw another party on the ball diamond again this year.
Commercial Club member Dale Boeckenstedt says everyone is welcome to come out this Saturday night, September 3rd.
The Petersburg Back Field Country Bash will also have H&H Rides, bounce houses and a kiddie tractor pedal pull, along with food and drinks. Bring your lawn chairs.
Everyone is encouraged to park around Petersburg, with shuttles taking people to the event at the ball diamond. Please reserve the church parking lot for handicapped and older residents to park.
Tickets will only be available at the gate this year. The cost is $25, with kids ten and under free.
