A concert featuring several hometown musicians is coming up this Labor Day weekend in Manchester.
The Pork Tornadoes, Not Quite Brothers and Casey Klein will be performing Sunday night, September 4th at the Delaware County Fairgrounds in a Hometown Heroes show sponsored by Community Savings Bank.
Mike Schulte from The Pork Tornadoes says this concert has been in the works for awhile.
The Pork Tornadoes got their start about fourteen years ago and are now widely known across Iowa.
Tickets for the Hometown Heroes concert are available online at delawarecofair.com or at the gate Sunday night.
Schulte says a lot of work goes in behind the scenes, but there’s nothing like stepping onto that stage.
Sunday night’s show in Manchester runs from 7 to 11 pm, with gates opening at 6 pm.
