Dollar Fresh celebrated its one year anniversary in Manchester on Friday.
The grocery store is housed in a new building at 1080 West Marion Street behind Pizza Ranch and opened in late August last year. Dollar Fresh is owned by HyVee and is designed specifically for smaller communities, serving up an assortment of fresh and new products at low prices.
District Store Director Travis Wirth says it’s been a good first year.
The store created forty jobs when it opened last year. Store Manager John Lentz says they’re looking forward to many more years in the community.
Dollar Fresh celebrated their one year anniversary with kids’ activities, clearance deals and a live broadcast on KMCH last Friday.
