A Dubuque County driver has died after hitting a house south of Sageville on Thursday afternoon.
At approximately 3:16 PM, the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office along with the Sherrill Fire Department responded to 10810 Hwy 3 for a single vehicle accident. The vehicle struck the house before colliding with a retaining wall and coming to rest.
The driver, and sole occupant, was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Dubuque County Medical Examiner Investigator.
The investigation is ongoing, and the name of the driver will be released at a later date.
