Arlington Man Arrested after Short Pursuit

An Arlington man was arrested after a short pursuit early Monday morning.

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy tried stopping a vehicle around 1 am knowing that the driver was not valid to drive on East Street.

But the driver, 45-year old Aaron Elledge, failed to stop and a pursuit ensued, with Elledge taken into custody a short time later.

Elledge faces several charges, including eluding (second offense), possessing methamphetamine (second offense) and driving while revoked and suspended.
