Maquoketa Valley Celebrates Homecoming

It’s Homecoming for Maquoketa Valley!

Today starts off with High-Five Friday – the band plays the fight song and the students and staff meet in the commons to cheer and then high-five everyone as they head to class for the day.

Student Council games kick off the afternoon, with the Homecoming parade at 2 pm in Delhi.

This year’s Homecoming King will be crowned at the pep rally after the parade, with the Homecoming Queen crowned during halftime of the game tonight. This year’s Maquoketa Valley Homecoming Court includes Brianna Fischer, Erin Knipper, Jenavieve LeGassick and Ella Mensen, along with Kade Freiburger, Avery Holtz, Carter Klaren and Zach Mineart.

The Wildcats will take on Clayton Ridge in tonight’s Homecoming football game, with kickoff at 7 pm.

And Homecoming week for Maquoketa Valley will wrap up with the Homecoming Dance on Saturday night.
