One Seat Remains Open Following Delaware County Fair Board Elections

The Delaware County Fair Board still has one open seat following their annual elections on Wednesday night.

Four director positions were open for election this year.

Three candidates ran to fill two At-Large positions, with incumbents Rick Palmer and Al Kelchen re-elected to the Fair Board.

Alan Atwater’s previous position covering North Fork, South Fork, Delhi and Union townships did not receive any applications, so the Fair Board appointed At-Large candidate Josh Hellmann to the seat.

And incumbent Jenny Radabaugh had originally sought re-election for the district that covers the City of Manchester, but then chose not to place her name on the ballot – so this seat remains open following elections. The Fair Board has the ability to appoint someone to the position at a later time.

The board is currently seeking people interested in filling this position. The candidate must be at least 18 years old and a current Delaware County resident. Each position is a three-year term.

New officers were also elected for the Delaware County Fair Board. Kurt Palmer will serve another year as President, Kathy Rahe was re-elected Vice President and Laura Lewin will serve as Treasurer for the next year.
