Sharon Rose Davis- Manchester

Sharon Rose Davis, 72, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at her home
surrounded by her family. She was born on February 15, 1950, in Rochester, Minnesota, the daughter of Emric and
Betty (McPherson) Polson. She was raised and educated in Plainview, Minnesota, and was a graduate of Plainview
High School. Sharon then graduated from Trinity College in Deerfield, Illinois, with a degree in Sociology.

On December 9, 1972, Sharon was united in marriage to Horace “Bob” Davis in Chicago. They were blessed with
three loving daughters. After their marriage the family lived in several Midwestern states. Sharon was currently a
faithful member of Living Water Church in Independence.

Sharon loved music and was the church pianist. She was a member of many worship teams. Sharon had an open
and loving heart, accepting others unconditionally. She loved the time she spent with her family, especially her
grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Bob Davis of Manchester; her three children, Kathy Davis of Earlville,
Kari Broyles of Cedar Hill, Texas, and Rebecca Davis of Sauk Rapids, Minnesota; seven grandchildren, Adam Davis,
Joeal Durr, Hannah Broyles, Dean Broyles, Mary Grace Broyles, Rainy Pearson, and Jaydan Pearson; and three
siblings, Tom (Brenda) Polson of Cedar Falls, Lyle (D’lynn) Polson of Cordova, South Carolina, and Shirley Evans of
Faribault, Minnesota; and several nieces and nephews.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, and son-in-law, Kirk Broyles.

A Celebration of Life: 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Hilltop Fellowship Church in Millville,
Minnesota, with Pastor Ken Hanson officiating.

Inurnment: Oakwood Cemetery – Millville, Minnesota-Lunch to follow.
