Manchester Hosting Northeast Iowa Family STEM Festival

Families are invited to attend the Northeast Iowa Family STEM Festival in Manchester later today.

The goal of the festival is to promote, inspire and engage youth in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics activities and introduce them to STEM careers in their local communities.

Organized like a street festival or county fair, visitors stroll from activity to activity at their leisure. Exhibits will feature interactive STEM activities for students and their families. They’ll be able to do such things as conduct science experiments, see a variety of animals, explore the solar system in a digital planetarium and drive robots.

The Northeast Iowa Family STEM Festival will be held in Manchester today from 4 to 7 pm at the Delaware County Community Center at the fairgrounds. The festival is free and open to the public.
