Backbone State Park is asking for your help.
A new section is being added to the existing CCC Museum at Backbone – and it will be dedicated to the fascinating history behind Iowa’s first state park.
Backbone was dedicated in 1920 and has been a getaway destination for many families throughout the years.
Their collection will be built on old photos, maps, letters, items and any memories you care to share relating to Backbone.
Backbone is asking you to consider donating items to help add to their mission of preserving the park’s history.
