The West Delaware Hawks Volleyball team stopped by Regional Medical Center in Manchester this week to hand-deliver a special donation.
Through breast cancer awareness fundraising efforts, the girls were able to donate nearly one thousand dollars to the RMC Radiology Department.
The money will go towards the RMC Radiology Pink Support Bag fund. This fund is used to purchase comfort items, gift cards and other goodies that might come in handy while local breast cancer patients fight their biggest fight. Every time there is a new breast cancer diagnosis, their Radiology team is able to support patients with donated dollars.
RMC Radiology Manager Megan Demmer says every year, they’re blown away by the efforts these young ladies make to donate to something bigger than themselves.
