Jules M. Uldrich – Earlville

Jules M. Uldrich, 82, of Earlville, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 7, 2022, surrounded by his family at his home in Earlville.

Visitation for Jules will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 11, 2022, at Clifton-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Earlville.

Additional Visitation is from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, November 12, 2022, at the Funeral Home.

A graveside service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery, Earlville, with a luncheon to follow at
the Earlville Community Center. Clifton-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Earlville, is
assisting the family.

Jules Marion Uldrich youngest grandson of John and Mary (Preslicka) Uldrich and Herman and Ana (Krisl) Otto; born to Rudy and Emma (Otto) Uldrich on January 13, 1940, in Tobias Nebraska during a blizzard.

He was baptized in the Episcopal Church at the age of seven. Jules was raised in Tobias and graduated in a class of five in 1958. After graduation he attended the University of Nebraska, paused in 1960, to serve four years in the United States Navy.

After proudly serving our country, Jules returned to the university and participated in Animal Science Livestock Judging Teams. He graduated in 1967, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Husbandry. Jules moved to Jacksonville, Illinois where he met
his wife Phyllis M. Rawe and married her on September 20, 1969. B

orn to this marriage were five children, Wes, Sarah, Monica, Andrea and Carmen. God chose to move the family in 1974, to Northeast
Iowa and in 1975, settled in Earlville.

He spent his lifetime as a Livestock Buyer for Oscar Meyer and Company, Iowa Beef Processers, Tyson Foods and retired after 40 years.

Surviving him are his five children, Wesley Uldrich of Edgewood, Iowa, Sarah (Todd) Lewin of Independence, Iowa, Monica (Jason) Mitts of Maquoketa, Iowa, Andrea Hucker of Hopkinton, Iowa, Carmen Uldrich (Chase Forkenbrock) of Edgewood, Iowa; 13 grandchildren, Sean, Reid, Samuel, Jessica, Autumn, Nadiah, Addison, Kallyn, Lucy, Ty, Donavon, Royce and Griffin; and niece Lois Lynn
Zach.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudy and Emma Uldrich; wife of 52 years Phyllis Uldrich; his in-laws, Francis and Mary Lois Rawe; brother; Rudy Jr. (Lola) Uldrich; son-in-law, Christopher Hucker; grandson, Andrew Christopher Hucker; and nephew Frank Zach.
