One person was arrested in Dyersville on Wednesday night after firing a gunshot into the air.
A disturbance with gunshots was reported at 505 9th Street Southeast shortly before 6 pm. Several agencies responded, including police departments from Dyersville, Cascade, Farley and Peosta, as well as the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office says an investigation revealed Khalia Williams fired a single shot into the air during the incident.
Williams was placed under arrest for domestic assault while in possession of a dangerous weapon and possession of a controlled substance.
