Manchester Police are warning residents of scammers pretending to be a local charity.
Operation Santa Claus recently received information from a Manchester resident that someone was going door to door soliciting donations for the charity, which provides Christmas gifts to families in Delaware County.
Operation Santa Claus wants everyone to know they DO NOT go door to door asking for donations. The group only operates on donations from businesses and free will donations from private individuals.Â
If someone approaches you regarding a donation to Operation Santa Claus, please call the police department at 927-3355.
