Entries Welcome for Manchester’s Static Christmas Parade & Window Walk
The Manchester Chamber will be hosting its 35th Annual Window Walk and Static Christmas Parade in a couple of weeks.
On Thursday night, December 1st, downtown Manchester will kick off the holidays with music, treats, horse & buggy rides and live window scenes.
That’s Chamber Director Dave Wakefield, who says this year’s theme will be “A Classic Christmas”.
The Static Christmas Parade is stationary – it doesn’t move – with floats set up along the downtown streets.
As Dave mentioned, attendees can vote for their favorite entry with cash or change – with all proceeds going to Operation Santa Claus. Last year, $450 was donated.
Area businesses and organizations are invited to join the Static Parade with a lighted float. LED lights are required and there is a ten dollar fee. For more information or to get signed up, reach out before Thanksgiving to Dave at the Manchester Chamber at 927-4141.
