The Regional Medical Center Auxiliary has donated funds to two areas of the hospital to help purchase equipment.
The Emergency Department received nearly $800 to purchase a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Cart to help care for victims of sexual assault.
And Regional Family Health received nearly $8,000 to purchase a Jaundice Meter for newborn babies. This jaundice meter is non-invasive – it’s able to test a baby without drawing any blood.
The RMC Auxiliary volunteers work throughout the year to raise money for various needs at the hospital – and Regional Medical Center says they greatly appreciate their support.
