This Saturday, Regional Medical Center is hoping residents all across the area will help them “light the night” with luminaries.
It’s the hospital’s new annual fundraiser called “A Night of Lights”. RMC Marketing and Fund Development Manager Valerie Lindsay says it serves two purposes.
So what exactly is an ambulance remount?
You can help them raise money for their ambulance remount by purchasing one of their luminary kits. It’s a real votive candle that’s placed inside a white paper bag weighted with sand at the bottom. On Saturday night, families and businesses are encouraged to line their sidewalks, driveways and walkways with these luminaries – and light up the night.
Each luminary kit costs ten dollars and includes eight luminaries. You can purchase them online at regmedctr.org/lights or at a business in your community:
