Delaware County Engineer Expects Hazardous Roads Heading into Friday

Snow plows have been out on the highways in Delaware County, but County Engineer Rafe Koopman is expecting the roads to become very hazardous as we head into Friday.

Koopman says the County Secondary Roads Department won’t be able to make much progress with getting the roads clean.

If the forecast holds true and the winds die down on Saturday morning, he’s hoping the County’s plowing efforts will keep the roads clear. Koopman says the County crews will probably not be able to get to every county road on Saturday, but they’ll continue plowing on Christmas Day on Sunday until they find a way out for everyone.
