A fire has damaged a Dubuque County residence.
The Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office says they were called to 20138 Four By Four Lane east of Holy Cross for a report of a structure fire on Tuesday afternoon shortly after 2 pm.
Fire departments from Sherrill, Asbury and Holy Cross also responded.
A vacant residence, owned by Richard Gansemer, was found to be partially engulfed in flames. The damage is estimated at around $25,000.
The Sheriff’s Office says the cause of the fire is unknown, but is not believed to be suspicious in nature.
