U.S. Senator Joni Ernst held a town hall meeting in Buchanan County on Wednesday.
Constituents who gathered at the Independence Public Library had an opportunity to ask the Senator questions. They brought up such topics as the border crisis, the national deficit, the recent WOTUS ruling and concerns over electric vehicles.
Ernst also held a Farm Bill Roundtable in Fayette on Wednesday morning, with a stop at Operation Empower in Dubuque County as well.
Senator Ernst is continuing her county visits today, with a stop in Linn County at Rockwell Collins in Cedar Rapids.
