Busch Named as Shared Superintendent for Starmont and West Central

The Starmont and West Central Community School District school boards have named Rob Busch as the next shared superintendent.

Busch currently serves as superintendent of the Edgewood-Colesburg Community School District, where he has worked with staff to improve student achievement, continued technology indicatives and prepared PPEL materials for board passage.

Ed-Co and Maquoketa Valley announced in November that Busch would be retiring at the end of the school year, with the current MV and North Linn shared superintendent, Dave Hoeger, named as the new shared superintendent for Ed-Co and MV beginning July 1st.

Busch holds a specialist degree in educational leadership from Drake University and has 22 years of administrative experience.

He will officially begin leading the Starmont and West Central Community School Districts on July 1st.
