Delaware County Master Gardeners Kicking Off ‘Mondays in March’

March is here – and that means the Delaware County Master Gardeners’ annual “Mondays in March” series is back.

This educational gardening lecture series features a different presenter and topic each week. The month starts tonight with Ray Kruse talking about “Planting and Management of Backyard Fruit Trees”. On March 13th, it’s “A Season of Color” with Nora Lozada, talking about colorful plants that are easy to grow. On March 20th, Andrea and Pam Carroll will present on “Annual and Perennial Cut Flower Arrangements”. And the series wraps up on March 27th with Deb Walser talking about “Square Foot and Raised Bed Gardening”.

The programs begin at 7 pm each Monday in March at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Manchester. The public is invited to attend, with a $2 donation taken at the door and door prizes given away each week.

And tune in each Monday in March as we visit with Bob Wendt about “Mondays in March” during our “Guest of the Day” around 8:10 am here on KMCH
