A few weeks ago, we told you that Dyersville needed your votes as the community was in the running for a national contest.
The contest was the 2023 USA Today 10 Best Reader Choice Awards, with everyone welcome to vote for their favorite community online at 10best.com. Dyersville was nominated for not one, but two, categories in the contest.
And the results are now in – and Dyersville came in second place in the Best Midwestern Small Town category and third in the voting for the Best Small Town Cultural Scene.
The winners were Vevay, Indiana, which was named the Best Midwestern Small Town (it’s known as a little slice of Switzerland in Indiana) and Clayton, New York won first place for Best Small Town Cultural Scene. Check out the list of the top ten winners in each category here:
