Two people were injured in a head-on collision in Linn County on Saturday morning.
The Linn County Sheriff’s Office says shortly before 4:30 am, emergency personnel responded to an accident at North Center Point Road near Bauer Lane.
Authorities say a northbound vehicle driven by 24-year old Nolan Svoboda of Quasqueton crossed the centerline and struck a semi head-on.
Svoboda was transported to a local hospital with what was believed to be serious injuries.
The semi, which was hauling corn, was driven by 62-year old Deborah Hundley of Aurora. Hundley was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
