The Delaware County Pork Producers will hold their annual Pie Contest and Auction on Saturday night, March 18th at the Delaware County Fairgrounds Pavilion in Manchester.
Pork Board member Jordan LeClere says anyone is welcome to enter a pie in their “Bake It With Lard” pie contest.
The pies are competing for cash prizes, with the top pie winning $100. And then the pies are auctioned off – and they bring in quite a bit of money.
A meal of sliced ham will be served starting at 6:30 pm. And little royalty will be crowned too. LeClere says the pie contest and auction is always a great event to kick off the year for the Pork Producers.
Tickets will be available at the door – $17 for adults and $6 for kids 10 and under.
