Over the past month, Iowans nominated over five hundred restaurants online. Parlor on Main in Central City has made the top ten list, along with Foodie Garage Eatery in Dubuque. The other top ten restaurants are:

  • Arty’s Ice Cream & Grill in Wilton
  • Ben’s Burgers in Ankeny
  • Birdies, Burgers and Brews @ The Hillcrest in Graettinger
  • Burger & Company in Spirit Lake
  • Fishback & Stephenson Cider House in Fairfield
  • Flight Bar & Grille in Huxley
  • Jeronimo’s Bar & Grill in Springbrook
  • Troy’s Bar & Grill in Earling

The final phase in the quest for the 2023 Iowa’s Best Burger will now begin. All Top Ten restaurants will be visited by a panel of anonymous judges, who will evaluate the burgers based on taste, appearance, and proper doneness.

The winner will be announced on May 1st to kick off May Beef Month.
