A Ryan man who recently passed away has left a gift for Camp Courageous.
Don Arnold died earlier this month at the age of 71. His daughter, Jennifer Freeland, has donated her father’s car to Camp Courageous. The camp, located near Monticello, serves thousands of campers with special needs every year.
Jennifer’s grandmother was Mary Westhoff, a great Manchester Camp Courageous Garage Sale volunteer in the 1980’s. Mary’s daughter, Sarah, was a regular Camp Courageous camper. And Mary’s son, Casey Westhoff, was a counselor at Camp Courageous and has dedicated his career to the profession of serving those with disabilities.
Camp Courageous says they greatly appreciate their generous gift.
