The City of Manchester is taking another look at its ATV/UTV ordinance.
The ordinance went into effect a couple years ago, allowing ATVs and UTVs on Manchester city streets. City Manager Tim Vick says there are some rules for operators to follow and the City will be reviewing if there needs to be any changes.
There have been some changes on the state level, which Vick says basically opens it up for anyone to run UTVs on state highways and county roads.
The Manchester City Council briefly visited with several members of the local ATV/UTV club at last night’s council meeting – with everyone agreeing it’d be a good idea to get together to review the ordinance and consider some changes.
The Council and club plan to meet early next week.
