Flags Flying Half-Staff in Honor of Nashville Shooting Victims

Flags in Iowa are flying at half-staff in honor and remembrance of the victims of Monday’s school shooting in Nashville.
Six people – including three children – were killed when a woman opened fire at Covenant School.
Governor Reynolds’ order is issued in conjunction with President Biden’s proclamation to lower all flags to half-staff.
Individuals, businesses, schools, municipalities, counties, and other government subdivisions are encouraged to fly the flags at half-staff for the same length of time.
Flags are to be lowered to half-staff until sunset on Friday.
