A Greeley woman was seriously injured in an accident near Delhi on Sunday afternoon.
The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office says an UTV was traveling north on 230th Avenue when the driver, 32-year old Bridget Uhlenkamp, felt the driver door was not fully closed.
Uhlenkamp tried to open and shut the door to latch it, but the door caught the wind and opened quickly. Uhlenkamp, still grasping the door, was pulled out of the driver’s seat onto the roadway.
She suffered serious injuries to her ankle and foot and was taken to Regional Medical Center in Manchester.
The other two riders were not injured.
