Manchester’s Baum Park Damaged by Friday’s Tornado

Manchester’s Baum Park took a hit from Friday night’s tornado.
City Parks and Rec Director Doug Foley says right now, the park is under a state of repair.Â
Baum Park used to be home to a number of large mature trees, but the City removed many of them a few years ago due to the ash borer – and the storm took out most of them that still remained.Â
The playground sustained a little damage, but Foley says the “Freedom Is Not Free†Veterans Memorial on the east side of Baum Park was spared.
