Congresswoman Hinson Visits Manchester, Winthrop & Peosta

Congresswoman Ashley Hinson made stops in Delaware, Dubuque and Buchanan counties this week.

Hinson toured Henderson Products in Manchester, hearing about their partnerships with local schools and their trade-based education programs. She also had the opportunity to test her skills on their welding simulator.

The Congresswoman also visited East Buchanan Telephone Cooperative in Winthrop. Hinson says she enjoyed hearing more about their community-oriented business model and their dedication in providing local service to rural Iowa communities.

Hinson’s visits also included the National Education Center for Agricultural Safety in Peosta. The center’s trainings and safety programs have saved at least 35 lives nationwide and they’re expanding their reach through partnerships with colleges and educational centers across the country.

And Congresswoman Hinson stopped into Aunt Emmy’s in Manchester to grab an iced coffee for the road.
