Sherman’s Pumpkin Farm Cleaning Up after Manchester Tornado

A beloved Manchester attraction is still cleaning up following the tornado.
Sherman’s Pumpkin Farm on South Wayne Street took a direct hit from the EF-1 tornado that struck Manchester on Friday night, March 31st.Â
That’s Dean Sherman. He and his wife, Jackie, started the pumpkin farm at their acreage more than 40 years ago – and they were saddened by the damage they found after the tornado moved through.
But the Shermans say they’re very grateful for all the help they’ve received.
And while cleanup and repairs will continue for awhile, pumpkin planting is just right around the corner. Dean says Sherman’s Pumpkin Farm and Corn Maze will be ready for fall.Â
Sherman’s will return with a “Cinderella†theme for this year’s corn maze and pumpkin farm. Dean noted they had already done a “Wizard of Oz†theme a few years ago.
