Metals Recycling Event in Manchester on Saturday

You’ve got a chance to get rid of any metal items you have laying around your property this weekend.

The Manchester Chamber says a metals recycling event will be held Saturday from 8 am to noon at the Delaware County Fairgrounds in Manchester.

Just pull up to the east gate with your unwanted metal items – including appliances – and drop them off for a small fee. Washers, dryers and microwaves are five dollars each and refrigerators are ten bucks.

Certain items will NOT be accepted, including TVs and old monitors. Tires, bulbs and hazardous waste such as liquids and paints will also not be accepted at Saturday’s event.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Letts Scrap & Recycling at 927-5503 or contact the Manchester Chamber.
