Delaware County Dispatch Moving to Sheriff’s Office in 2024

Delaware County Dispatch will be making the move across town to the new Sheriff’s Office next year.

For years, the dispatch center has been located at the Manchester Police Department downtown. But when the new Delaware County Sheriff’s Office and Jail was built on the west end of Manchester a couple years ago, a new dispatch area was created with more space and an improved layout.

County Supervisor Shirley Helmrichs:

At their meeting on Monday, the Delaware County Board of Supervisors announced a date on which that transition will begin to take place.

Helmrichs says Delaware County will be working closely with the City of Manchester to make sure the dispatchers’ transition from the police department to the Sheriff’s Office goes smoothly.
