Beckman Catholic Hires Mather as New Football Coach

Beckman Catholic High School in Dyersville has hired a new football coach.

Cole Mather will take over the role heading into next school year. He’ll also serve as the school’s new strength and conditioning teacher.

Mather comes to Beckman Catholic with experience in both areas. He was a member of the Wapsie Valley football staff for the past eight years, with the Warriors football program making state playoff appearances for six of those years. Mather also has certification as a USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach, helping his student athletes perform at high levels.

He is the son of West Delaware volleyball coach Brett Mather.

Mather says he is extremely excited to join the Beckman Catholic family, adding that he will be committed to helping the students and athletes become the best version of themselves through academics and sports.
