Midwest Pride In Your Ride Returns to Earlville

The Midwest Pride In Your Ride truck and tractor show returns to Tri-State Raceway in Earlville this weekend, with the goal of raising money for the Relay for Life.

Committee member Greg Preussner says this will be their 13th year for the annual event.

And you can help them get there – daily admission for Midwest Pride In Your Ride is ten dollars for ages 13 and older, though donations are always accepted – with all proceeds going to the American Cancer Society. Cancer survivors wearing their purple survivor shirt get in for free.

The two-day event kicks off Friday night with a Survivor Convoy at 5:30 pm, followed by the truck pull at 6 pm and light show afterwards. Anyone is welcome to bring their trucks and tractors and put them on display – last year, over 250 semis and nearly forty tractors came from thirteen states.

On Saturday, lifetime achievement awards are given at 11 am, followed by a live auction at noon and semi drag racing at 3 pm. Vendors will be on hand with various products, including the Iowa Corn Trailer. And there will be free kids’ activities on Saturday from 11 to 2, with a fish pond, bounce house and kiddie tractor pull at noon.

Preussner says they appreciate all the sponsors and volunteers who help make this event the big fundraiser that it is.
