Delaware County Engineer Discusses Upcoming Road Projects

Summer means road projects – and Delaware County has one in the plans for this summer.

County Engineer Rafe Koopman says work will be taking place on a stretch of Robinson Road in the southwest portion of the county.

Several other projects are in the five-year plan as well. But Koopman says they could change, depending on funding and other logistics – nothing is set in stone too far out.

And he says the County hasn’t forgotten about Lake Delhi.

Koopman will be coming up on one year with Delaware County this summer – and he says things have been going really well.

And the County will have a new maintenance shed going up in the Earlville area.

Koopman says he appreciates communication from Delaware County residents, so if you have any concerns or questions, feel free to reach out.

You can reach the Delaware County Secondary Roads Department at 927-3505.
