Volunteers Needed to Plant Trees at Edgewood’s Viking Loop Trail

Volunteers are needed today in Edgewood.

Chamber Director Elise Bergan says they just received word this week that the trees are now ready to be planted at the Viking Loop Trail.

They’re hoping to get those trees in the ground after school today. This is a Woodcenter Eagles’ 4-H community service project – and they could use as many people as possible to help out.

Please show up ready to mulch and plant trees – and bring a shovel if you have one.

Planting will begin at 4 pm at the Community Dreams on the east side of the track field. Many hands will make light work, so they’re hoping to get all the trees in the ground within an hour.
