Driver’s Name Released in Fatal Dubuque County Crash

Authorities have released the name of the driver involved in a fatal Dubuque County crash last week.

The Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office says 64-year old Charles Coley of New Vienna died following the crash just west of Asbury on Tuesday afternoon. 

The accident happened at 16323 Asbury Road shortly before 4:30 pm. Coley’s vehicle had driven off the west side of the road, traveled about seventy yards through a field and then down a wooded embankment. 

Coley was transported to MercyOne Hospital in Dubuque, where he later died.
