Strawberry Point Celebrates Strawberry Days

Strawberry Point celebrated Strawberry Days this past weekend.

The annual festival kicked off Thursday night and ran through Sunday. And even with some light rain showers on Saturday, the event was a success. Chamber President Tracie Cumberland:

After the parade on Saturday morning, everyone was encouraged to head uptown and support the local restaurants and businesses before the carnival and activities started. The Starmont wrestling program had fun running a dunk tank. Coach Jake Munger says they plan on making it an annual thing.

Lane German was running the volleyball tournament.

German, who is from Lamont, says he enjoys Strawberry Days because it involves everyone from the area.

Cumberland says it’s always a great weekend – and they’re looking forward to seeing everyone again next year.
