New Barbershop Coming to Manchester

A new barbershop is coming to Manchester this summer.

Walker native Josh Smith is opening Traditions Barbershop downtown later this month.

Smith’s barbershop will be located in the former Bread Basket building on East Main Street. The back three-quarters of the building is home to Crucible Ju Jitsu, but Traditions Barbershop will take up the first quarter – right when you walk in the storefront – you may have noticed from the outside that they’ve been busy doing some remodeling.

That vintage tin ceiling will just add to the ambience of an old-school barbershop experience.

Traditions will have two chairs available, offering straight razor shaves and classic haircuts.

Smith is hoping to open the new barbershop on Monday, June 26th. And he says the support he’s already received from the community has been amazing.
