And today, activities start getting underway in the city park around 4 pm, with the carnival opening at 5 pm. Little Mr. and Miss Winthrop will be announced at 6:30 pm, along with the Citizen of the Year.Â
And on Saturday, the Winthrop Days parade kicks off at 4 pm, with a meal at the fire station from 5 to 7 pm.Â
Hansen says Winthrop Days is just a great time to see everyone in the community.
